Cherry Trees at Lake Balboa 2009

It's that time of year again...the Japanese Cherry Trees at Lake Balboa are starting their annual bloom. I would say they are at about 10% today, but I would expect the bloom to come on fast over the next 1-2 weeks.

It is quite an amazing show when at its height, so don't dawdle or you might miss it. Week days are best, as the park can be very busy on the weekend.
