Trackbacks for Blogger users
Seth Godin was talking about trackbacks today and noted that Blogger users couldn't use them.
A while a go, I discovered this web site which allows anyone to process a trackback.

I noted Seth's comment on this and went to the link - it looked like solution to my problems but I find it incomprehensible. Surely they're not suggesting you have to add html to your template (and by extension republish) every time you want a trackback? And the html you have to cut and paste must surely include some refernce to your own blog url musn't it? As i have blogged before, don't they realise that most bloggers these days are non geeks? Rhanks for the link though.
No, you don't have to add the HTML, that is only if you want it as an easy clickable link on your blog. You do need to fill out the fields above and then press the button.
That said, I was having trouble making a Trackback to Seth's post earlier today.
It certainly isn't as easy as having Trackback built-in, but (when it works) it is one way of accomplishing it.
